About UDS Group
In April 2019, the UDS Group took a significant stake in Matrix.
UDS Group is a leading B2B Facilities Management Service Provider that commenced its operations as a partnership firm in 1990.
With 30+ years of expertise, it has established itself as a prominent Integrated Business Services Platform in India, offering comprehensive facilities management services and other solutions nationwide.
A group of professionals came together and incorporated Matrix Business Services with a sole vision to become the most respected business assurance company.
2006
We became early entrants in the Employee Background Verification space in the country.
2008
Kotak Mahindra Group invested in the company with board representation. This year, our customer base crossed 100.
2009
We were recognized. NASSCOM included Matrix in the Emerge 50 list.
2014
There was nothing stopping us. Our employee strength crossed 1000. Our customer base zoomed past 350 and we bagged 25 customers from the Fortune 500 companies
2016
Our customer base crossed 650. We developed a network of 11 branches.
2019
Updater Services took a significant stake in Matrix in April 2019. Our first financial investor, Kotak Mahindra, exited the company and the board. Matrix became a part of the UDS group.

Limitation of liability

Severability

Dispute resolution

The exclusive jurisdiction and venue for actions related to the subject matter hereof shall be the courts located in Chennai, India, and you hereby submit to the personal jurisdiction of such courts. You hereby waive any right to a jury trial in any proceeding arising out of or related to this Agreement. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply to this Agreement.
Changes and amendments
We reserve the right to modify this Agreement or its terms relating to the Website and Services at any time, effective upon posting of an updated version of this Agreement on the Website. When we do, we will revise the updated date at the bottom of this page. Continued use of the Website and Services after any such changes shall constitute your consent to such changes.

We use the legitimate interests’ legal basis for processing direct marketing emailers / phone calls and have identified that our interests are to provide you with high quality, best in industry, performance support system to ease and improve user onboarding, support and training.

1.16 Grievance Officer
Matrix has appointed Ms. Jayasree Srinivasan as the Chief Privacy Officer/Grievance Officer. She can be reached at

The timeline to attend to resolving minor incidents (incidents which do not cause no/very negligible damage) would be next 24 hours. With respect to other major/critical incidents – first level would be attended to in the next 24 hours and subsequently would be resolved within a maximum timeline of 72 hours depending on the gravity of the issue.
